Derrumbes Michoacan Mezcal 750ML

Derrumbes Michoacan is prepared using maguey Cupreata (agave Inaequidens) for ripe fruit smells and maguey Alto (agave Inaequidens) for herbal overtones. It's cooked in a stone pit underground with black oak and fermented in underground tanks coated with pine wood, which adds to the herbal flavor. Derrumbes Michoacan is distilled using the Phillipino technique, which precedes copper-pot distillation and is true to the heritage of mezcal manufacturing in this region. The still's body must be built of wood, and the alcohol vapors must be condensed by a copper pot filled with water that rests at the top of the trunk.
